Edward LeRoy Dunkerly has practiced law in the State of Washington for more than 40 years and over 25 years in the State of Oregon. He has represented people accused of committing crimes in federal and state courts in both states, including appeals. During his career he has defended people who have been accused of virtually every crime that can be committed. He also has extensive civil experience acting as defendant’s or plaintiff’s counsel in cases ranging from groundwater contamination actions, injured persons resulting from very serious car accidents, medical malpractice, dog bites and other injuries.

Over the past 15 years practice he has exclusively defending persons accused of committing criminal offenses. He is a life member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and for many years was or remains a member of the Washington Defender Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Clark County Bar Association, and the Multnomah Bar Association. Additionally, he served as a disciplinary hearings officer for the Washington State Bar Association involving matters where attorneys were accused of attorney misconduct . He is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College, Macon, Georgia. He is an able, respected, and staunch defender of those accused of criminal activity.
